Comfortable, soft men's pullover from the brand Steppenstrolch, made from exclusive yak wool. Yaks roam the steppes of Mongolia in large herds alongside nomadic shepherds. Yaks are combed in the spring, when their winter coat sheds. Only a small amount of wool comes off each yak, making yak wool one of the most exclusive and expensive types of wool in the world. Various products are made from the wool in small-scale businesses.

This pullover does not have an organic certificate, but the wool is as natural as natural can be. The wool is undyed, sustainably and ethically sourced and produced, and of high quality.

The properties of yak wool:

• temperature regulating, and therefore suitable for every season
• hygroscopic (permeable to air and moisture)
• hypoallergenic (does not cause allergic reactions)
• super soft, thin fibers

We have a few sweaters in stock. You can come to our store to view, try on, and feel the sweater. If your size is not available, we can order the sweater for you in sizes S through XL; the sweater is also available in grey or dark brown.

It is often sufficient to hang the sweater out for a day after wearing it. With wool clothing, odors usually disappear on their own this way, and washing is not necessary. If needed, the garment can be washed using a wool program at 30 degrees, with a maximum cycle of 800 RPM and a wool detergent. Before hanging the wet garment, gently pull it into shape.
