Merino wool is naturally temperature-regulating and breathable, and helps prevent unpleasant odours. Often, simply hanging the sweater out for a day after wearing it is enough. Odours usually disappear from wool garments this way, so washing isn't necessary.

If needed, wash the garment on a 30-degree wool cycle, with a maximum spin speed of 800 RPM and a wool detergent. Gently reshape the wet garment before hanging it up.
